FOR MY SISTER

I worked on this quilt for a while- but it was worth it, because it was for my sister. Love you, T.

For MOM

I finished a disappearing nine patch for my mother for Christmas. I used the Provence fabric by Yuko Hasegawa.

I've been busy- wish is was with sewing.

I have been very busy with work and home, but I have managed to finish a few things.
First- Coby in his adorable sock monkey costume.

Next, I made a door hanger for 2 of my boys teachers. I put a scented sachet in the back of the pillow.

I am finishing up on Coby and my stockings.

I have 2 more projects in the works--one using these beautiful fabrics.

Found a new site to follow

I came about this blog through a very round about way. I really like the way she makes lists-- so me, and the way she celebrates her birthday.... WITH A GIVEAWAY! Here is the link.

ORGANIZATION!

I love the latest post from Sew Fantastic. She shows you a wonderful way to use Comic book boards to create little bolts for your fabric! I just went to Amazon and bought 100 boards for 14.00. They will be here Tuesday! I can't wait to reorganize my fabric stash, it is way over due. I will post pictures once it is done.

I have started to add favorite blogs and websites. These bloggers are very talented and creative. I am also going to link to some of my favorite tutorials. Hope you enjoy.

Maybe I will keep up this one.

So I did not keep up with postings of the boys. I kinda figured that would happen. They grow so fast, I found myself always needing to post more stuff. It takes a long time to post pictures and such on these blogs-- it is faster to post to facebook. But, I decided that this would be a great spot for my sewing hoopla. I have been keeping up with and reading several other craft/sewing blogs, and they are really interesting and full of great stuff. I hope mine can be as inspirational- or maybe I can just link and comment on some of there awesome ideas.
For example: The Quilted Fish is having an awesome give away. All you have to do is comment on her blog.
